	Jim Petersen President and Chief Executive Officer After completing a four year formalized trade school program, which included an extensive field level program, Jim earned the status of "Master Craftsman" in 1983 and formed Petersen-Dean in 1984. Jim's fundamental belief has always been to deliver exceptional service and value at a fair price to the consumer. Mr. Petersen's list of accomplishments is extensive. His most notable include: past president of the California Roofing Contractors Association, various subcommittees with Home Aid, Habitat for Humanity and the Building Industry Association. Mr. Petersen has also served as a board member with the Fremont Unified School District and remains an active supporter of nationwide sports programs for youth and the disadvantaged. Mr. Petersen holds active Contractor's Licenses in five states. He is an active member of the American Institute of Architects, the National Roofing Contractors Association, the United States Green Building Council and the Leaders for Energy and Environmental Design.
	David Van Beek Chief Operations Officer David Van Beek joined Petersen-Dean in 1990 as Vice President of Finance and became a co-owner in 1995. After a successful career as an accountant at several Fortune 500 companies, Van Beek now serves as Petersen-Dean's COO and General Manager of the Newark Division. He is active in the Western States Roofing Contractors Association, the National Association of Roofing Contractors, and the Building Industry Association. Van Beek also volunteers for HomeAid, Make-A-Wish, and Habitat for Humanity. Van Beek earned his BS degree in accounting and his CPA from Santa Clara University.
	Joe Dean Senior Vice President, Re-roof Operations As Petersen Dean's Senior Vice President, Joe Dean oversees all re-roofing operations. A certified journeyman and master craftsman, Dean co-founded Petersen-Dean in 1984. Throughout his years with the company, Dean has taken an active role in imparting his valuable experience to Petersen-Dean's crews of roofers. He also participates in the Western States Roofing Contractors Association, the National Association of Roofing Contractors, and the Building Industry Association.
